The Struebings | Over the Years

First came love, then came marriage, then a dog, another dog, and THEN a baby in a baby carriage.

I think the best part of this “job” is seeing God’s plans for people’s lives unfold. For the last 4 years, it seems like Sydney and I have done everything together lol. We both graduated nursing school in the height of a global pandemic. In the middle of one of our class projects, I noticed that she had an engagement ring, so I ~casually~ slid in the fact that on top of all the craziness of nursing, I also am photographer. SYD WAS THRILLED lol.

I was blessed with the opportunity to capture Sydney and Jason’s love at their engagement session. I WAS SWOON.

The wedding day was even better. I left feeling like I was “in” with them and their families.

Next thing I knew, Sydney left our job at Methodist, just for me to follow her to the Derm (Midwest Dermatology) 3 months later!!

Our friendship grew, and so did her family. First it was Ace (the dog) and then Piper (his little sis).

AND THEN, Syd told me she was expecting! A surprise we were all waiting so (im)patiently for. WHAT A TRUE GIFT OF GRACE.

Then, after what seemed like the longest 9 months ever, little girly pop Blair was born. Cue the tears!!!!!

I am blown away daily at the front row seat I get into the moments in people’s lives. THIS is what it’s all about.
